A return to dull and drizzly weather today has meant my beadmaking was a bit curtailed today. My workbench is set up right by the window of my studio but it was so overcast, I couldn't really see what I was doing properly. It hasn't really been much of a problem before, there have maybe been two or three other occasions when I noticed I couldn't see as well.

However, all that is about to change, we have got a leccy coming tomorrow to install a proper electricity supply to the studio and I am going to have an overhead fluorescent light fitted with a daylight spectrum tube. He is using a cotina (which is an overhead cable) from the house. I made my dad laugh when I was telling him about it recently cos I misheard and called it a Cortina. Der!

So my days of walking back and forth with the extension cable and trailing it out of the kitchen window are finally over!
